We are starting to pack, read the maps, and get organized.
I'm looking forward to the new boots on this trip; I ended up walking in leaky boots last year in the Yorkshire Dales with the expected results.
It's been raining for 3 weeks in London up until today, I hope the weather breaks before we get there.
We have our official trail guide book for the Wye Valley Walk, and the 8 Ordnance Survey maps
The walk is 136 miles in length, with 18,000' of climbing in total.
here is a link with the national trail info: http://www.ldwa.org.uk/ldp/members/show_path.php?path_name=Wye+Valley+Walk
As in previous blogs, we will update as we go, sharing observations and pictures of our shared path, but from the 2 different points of view that we always have.
